What Our Learners Say
The prototyping and testing exercises made the whole process feel practical rather than just theoretical.
Great toolkit of methods I've since used directly in client workshops.
Good structure across the three days, though the ideation session on day two could run a little longer.
Helped me build a repeatable process for validating features with real users before development starts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes -- design thinking remains widely used because it gives teams a structured way to solve complex, user-centred problems, particularly in digital transformation, product development and innovation projects. Its emphasis on empathy and iterative testing continues to be relevant as organisations deal with increasingly complex customer and technology challenges.
Design thinking methods include tools and techniques such as user personas, journey mapping, empathy maps, brainstorming and ideation sessions, low-fidelity prototyping, and structured user testing. The APMG Design Thinking Method course teaches how to select and apply these tools appropriately across each stage of a project.
Some frameworks extend the standard five stages into seven steps by adding explicit 'Understand' and 'Implement' phases around the core Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test cycle. This course focuses on giving you a practical, repeatable process you can apply to real projects, rather than requiring you to memorise a single fixed step count.
The Design Thinking Method course runs over 3 days and is delivered as Online Live instructor-led training, with the official APMG exam included in the course fee.
