  • Build the organizational framework to support the business continuity program.
  • Introduce key concepts, such as program management, risk awareness, identification of critical functions/processes, recovery strategies, training and awareness, and exercise/testing.

  • Assess risks to determine potential impacts to the organizational entity, allowing the entity to determine the most effective use of resources to reduce these potential impacts.

  • Assess the resources required to conduct the BIA.
  • Analyze the results to determine any gaps between the organization's requirements and its ability to meet those requirements.
