The course, and the related ISACA certification, are aimed at professionals already experienced in managing and controlling IT and information risk in companies.
There are no requirements to attend the course or take the exam, but previous experience in IT risk management and control is recommended.
After passing the exam, you will need to request certification from ISACA.
To obtain certification, you must have passed the exam and have at least three years of work experience in one of the CRISC competency domains.

Instructors are selected exclusively from professionals and business consultants specializing in IS Auditing and ICT Risk Management, and who work primarily in the fields of risk management and IT. Instructors are CRISC certified, a distinctive feature, as well as proven trainers and official CRISC-accredited trainers for the ISACA Chapter.
The fee includes only the electronic documentation supporting the lessons, but not the study manuals described below, which can be purchased at the ISACA bookstore (www.isaca.org).
The necessary and recommended study materials for exam preparation are:
(1) the CRISC Review Manual,
(2) the CRISC Review Questions, Answers and Explanations Database, or as a partial alternative to the latter, the CRISC Review Questions, Answers and Explanations Manual.
The exam is administered by ISACA in English.
It is not included in this course but can be purchased separately during registration or independently from www.isaca.org.
