What You Will Learn

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: - take the CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Core 2 certification exams - identify, use, and connect hardware components and devices - install and support the Windows operating system, including command-line and client support, and understand Mac OS, Linux, and mobile OS functionality - troubleshoot PC and mobile device issues and provide application security support - distinguish and explain the differences between different types of networks and connections, including TCP/IP, WIFI, and SOHO - troubleshoot device and network issues - identify and defend against security vulnerabilities in devices and their network connections - install and configure laptops and other mobile devices - illustrate cloud computing concepts and configure client-side virtualization - follow best practices for security, environmental impact, communication, and professionalism to effectively isolate the problem
