What You Will Learn
- Increase awareness and understanding of potential technological threats; - Provide guidance on how to orient corporate cybersecurity towards continuous improvement, in order to be prepared to respond to rapidly changing technological threats; - Align your profile description with cybersecurity targets, identifying, prioritizing, and monitoring improvements; - Understand the objectives of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and its seven implementation steps; - Be able to apply and evaluate the seven implementation steps of the CSF, consistent with the provisions of the COBIT framework.
Course Curriculum
Preliminary distribution of “Introduction to COBIT” study material to create a common skill base for all participants.
- Initial pre-assessment test on basic COBIT Framework skills and summary of key aspects of COBIT;
- ntroduction to the NIST CyberSecurity Framework (CSF);
- Structure of the NIST CSF (Framework Core, Implementation Tiers, and Profiles); -
- In-depth analysis of the 7 implementation phases envisaged by COBIT and relationships with the 7 steps envisaged by the CSF ;
- Analysis of potential exam questions.
- General review and exam tips;
- Test simulation and final questions;
- Exam, valid for the APMG "Cobit for NIST" certification.
