There are no formal prerequisites for attending the course, although skills and experience in cybersecurity and IT security topics and practices are recommended.
The exam can be taken without entry requirements, but to apply for certification, once you pass the exam, you must demonstrate at least five years of recent work experience in two or more of the eight CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) domains. Those with a bachelor’s degree or additional credentials from the approved list (ISC)2 can access the course with four years of work experience in two or more of the eight CISSP CBK domains.
