There are no requirements to attend the course or take the exam.
After passing the exam, you will need to request certification from ISACA. To obtain certification, you must pass the exam and have at least five years of work experience in one of the CISM competency domains (two years of which can be replaced by a degree in ICT or equivalent).

The course fee includes only the electronic documentation supporting the lessons (course slides), but not the study materials described below, which can be purchased separately.
The necessary and recommended study materials for exam preparation include:
(1) the CISM Review Manual (in English),
(2) the CISM Review Questions, Answers, and Explanations Database (in English), or as a partial alternative to the latter, the CISM Review Questions, Answers, and Explanations Manual (in English).
